SUMMER 2020 / PERSONAL SCALE DIORAMA MODEL WORK

KITTY‘S WORLD IN A BROKEN GLASS JAR

In fantasy, kittens live in crock-like houses protected by wooden structures and brick shells. The work creates a fantastical communication scene through transparent glass jars, internal structures, and two kitten models. Inspired by a broken glass jar from online shopping, the broken area is made into the house's entrance, and the story begins.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The interior structure of the entire pot house is supported by three main wooden vertical beams, creating three distinct Spaces within the limited space. On the first floor is the kitchen and living room; The second floor is a study and tatami; the third floor is the bedroom.

EXTERIOR WALL DESIGN

The exterior walls are made of plastic to create the effect of brick walls and then sprayed with red brick. By hand-drawing cute graffiti, the lovely elements of life are brought into the boring atmosphere.

BUILT-IN LIGHT SOURCE DESIGN

By adding magnetic switch LEDs with button batteries inside the mezzanine floor, the design of light sources is added to the different area modules in the house, and the use of warm color light sources creates a warm atmosphere.
