BACKSTORY SETTING
UC.0094, MSN-06S Sinanju Stein was looted by anti-Federation forces; three Sinanju and spare parts were acquired by Neo Zeon and appeared in UC.0096 and 0097. The looting coincided with federal parliamentary elections, and the ruling cabinet's popularity plummeted, forcing 80% of the federal government to resign. The new Parliament reopened an integrity inquiry and uncovered corruption in the military behind the Sinanju incident, so Sinanju's design project was transferred to the relevant business department under the Military Commission. MSN-06M was developed for this purpose and was used for rebel work in the Jovian sphere. Neo Sinanju uses Sinanju's skeleton material technology and a new propulsion system. As the military council's budget was cut, Nu Gundam's framing technology was used in Neo Sinanju.

Neo Sinanju was initially planned as a wingman for MTR-01S, but since MTR-01S was destroyed in UC.0093, Neo Sinanju added a new propulsion system for Jupiter's gravity midway through.
