BACKSTORY SETTING
UC.0093, Char Aznable caused the Earth Federal Government to re-examine its political approach to anti-federalists and move toward conservatism. The repeated changes of cabinet governments forced the parliament into conflict with the power structure of the central government. The Cabinet questioned the military Council Nebuchadnezzar's development plan and raised political questions about how to protect it. The Military Commission began developing the PA Security prototype for Project Nebuchadnezzar in UC.0095. Production started on UC.0095, the PA project's first MS, PA-S01, and entered service on UC.0096.
PA-S01 was responsible for the security of important personnel in Laplace and Lhasa during the unrest, but the Unicorn's Psychic force affecting the external Psycoframe armor module carried by PA-S01 caused a slight loss of control, and the pilot suffered a mild brain injury. PA-S01 canceled the parliamentary security. It was transferred to La Vie en Rose as a standby dispatch unit.
BACKSTORY SETTING
Early in the PA development program, design controversy surrounded the pedigree. In UC.0095, the design direction of PA was mainly based on the MTR-01 core module of the Nebuchadnezzar development plan, but due to the difficulty of production and financial reasons, the design of PA was changed to refer to MSN-06S Sinanju Stein, which was robbed by Neo Zeon in UC.0094. The PA-S01 uses the basic skeleton design of Sinanju Stein, incorporates the high-strength joint technology of the ZZ period, and develops the external Psycoframe armor module.
BACKSTORY SETTING
The PA-S01's armor design reduces the number of non-essential armor protection modules, such as the ankle and the back of the thigh. The Anaheim data study found that the design to protect the ankle module from infantry damage in the field was no longer effective. Instead, some foreign objects were often found stuck inside the armor during maintenance. The PA-S01 increases the volume of the knee module to be suitable for close combat. And thickened the cockpit door armor.
ARMAMENT DESIGN
The PA-S01 uses a special Magnum, which reduces the output power while allowing continuous design modes. The right side of the backpack carries a small tactical nuclear weapon for classified self-destruction in case of emergency.
