Shaping The American Urban Landscape
Spring 2024 / 3 CREDITS COURS
LAND 4970: Special Topics in Landscape Architecture
This course is intended to provide students with an awareness of the remarkable contribution made to American urbanism by many of the landscape architecture profession’s “pioneer” practitioners through their plans to improve existing cities and their designs for new towns and “model” suburbs. The study of topographic suburbs. The study of a topographic map and a field case study will combine the scope of land planning, housing style, and living mode. A team works on the project with members Tzu-Yu Lo, Ean Gove, Harry Grams, and Jade Merrell.

Students use a relatively small land area to learn about community road planning and the design of the functional regions.
